GAGAU & ASSOCIATES primary business is in engineering management, consulting and project management services from a team of qualified professional engineers, project managers and consultants with a combined experience of over 200 years in public utilities, technologies and infrastructure of electricity, (energy, power), water supply and sewerage systems and telecommunications (information and communications technology).
Our services are focused on electrical and mechanical engineering systems for community infrastructure development projects in all facets of power generation, transmission and distribution systems including renewable energy and hybrid power systems to water supply and sewerage systems to telecommunications networks, transmission and cellular sites infrastructure, information and communications technology (ICT) systems.
Our team is well-versed with customized solutions and quality service to specific clientele having worked across the public and private sectors with diverse range of internal and external stakeholders in projects, business and industries.

Our Team

Atkinson is an Electrical Engineer by profession, Experienced Project Manager, Consulting Engineer and Engineering Consultant. He has over 35 years industry experience in the Energy sector undertaking engineering planning and development of electrical power generation, transmission and distribution from design to projects management including feasibility studies, tenders, contracts and post projects appraisals.

Chris Bais
Chris is a Mechanical and Power Engineer, Experienced Project Manager, Consulting Engineer and Energy Consultant on a full spectrum of energy sources and power systems generation and technologies. He has over 40 years of extensive experience in construction, implementation and managing complex energy power generation systems and infrastructures.
Chris has led teams to plan, design, construct, install and implement various capital works projects and programs, including turnkey, from tendering to testing & commissioning of generation transmission and distribution systems, covering all energy power sources from diesel, solar, gas, wind to hydro. He also led re-engineering and rehabilitation of various power stations across PNG to optimize, maintain and sustain operation life-cycle of critical and vital assets of PNG Power Ltd.
Chris has specialized training in energy power generation and supply and has worked with international energy companies in United Kingdom, Australia and Japan and fully conversant with technology developments and trends from Diesel, Gas, Solar, Wind and Hydro. He also has attended various technical and management workshops, seminars and conferences both in PNG and overseas.
